The Gym |
| |
We were all very impressed with the
tour they gave us of the Gym soon after its completion. To have
access to such a first rate facility, especially when it was still
so new was a real privilege. |

| |
The Gym was well equipped to
handle most sports including basketball, indoor soccer, weight
training and gymnastics. |

This was the main entrance to the Gym.
For such a large building it is strange that the designers didn't make
the entrance a little more impressive. |

No Food or Drink allowed in the Gym.
There was always a big pile of misplaced and funky smelling gym
clothes on display in the lobby. |

We all spent a lot of time here during
assemblies. Sometimes when the assembly ran into its second hour
I would start to imagine what would happen if those massive stadium lights
chained to the roof would detach and fall... please stand as the
official party flees. |

All this expensive weight and fitness training equipment was a real asset to
the PE department. From this area you had fantastic views
of the school oval all the way out to the Hyperdome. |
