  Zulu
On 24th June 1994, 133 students from St Peter’s competed in the Rock Eisteddfod Finals.

The quest to reach the finals commenced at the end of 1993, when students and teachers who had ideas for the 1994 theme met together.

A vote was held and the popular African Zulu theme was chosen. It was felt that this theme would be a good foundation for a vibrant and eye catching dance routine.

While the dancers rehearsed enthusiastically, the backstage crew and Mrs Hodgson designed, made and painted the sets and other props. Mrs Morton and her costume crew sewed the fabulous costumes.

After four hours of performances on the evening of the final, the judges announced St Peter’s as second place runner up with an additional award for set design.
